I really have a love for mirrors...just as I do for lamps and chandeliers. When ever I see an tossed aside mirror, I know I have to do something with it...here are just a few samples. The old mirror at the top had wood pieces attached to the top half, and they made no sense, so I pried them off and silver leafed the piece. Then I decided it still needed more, so I hand painted the cherubs, ribbons, and roses, aged the entire piece and this remains...although, I still may add some form of iron or rose work to wind above the top from one post to the next...just haven’t figured that one out yet...the others two pictured below are two old mirrors that speak for themselves.
